Several members of Project Nourish have been involved in supporting various missionary organizations in different countries, including Haiti, Honduras, and Brazil for many decades. As a result of working in these less fortunate areas we have been blessed in growing many friendships. After the Earthquake in Haiti in January 2010 Karl Vanderhoof, the Project Nourish President and founder, was contacted by a Haitian friend who asked us to bring aid to the mountain village of Cabois, which had not been receiving much outside support. We sent a team to Haiti to investigate the situation in June 2010. After that trip we decided it was time to start our own organization to help those less fortunate around the globe. Currently our work is focused in Haiti.
How Did We Start?
Impacting our world, one life at a time
Project Nourish is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization with the purpose of improving the quality of life for less fortunate peoples of poor areas, bringing tangible and intangible aid as we are able. Project Nourish looks to empower the underprivileged within impoverished countries through the creation of sustainable programs. These programs provide things such as water, agriculture, education, medical treatment, business initiatives, and spiritual development. Ultimately, we would like to turn administration of these programs over to the native people.
At Project Nourish, we rely on the support of donors like you. With your help, we are able to provide life-changing programs to those who need them most.
